Yummiest Vegan French Toast

  • 1 cup Organic Valley vanilla soy milk - Aisle 1
  • 2 Tbsp. Bob's Red Mill whole wheat pastry flour - Aisle 2
  • 1 Tbsp. Sucanat - Bulk Aisle 5
  • 1 Tbwp. Red Star nutritional yeast - Bulk Aisle 5
  • 1 tsp. Simply Organic cinnamon - Aisle 2
  • 4-6 slices of Rudi's 100% whole wheat bread slices - Bread Display

Whisk togehter first five ingredients, and let rest for a few minutes while you heat up a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray. The skillet is ready when you flick a drop of water on it, and it skitters across the surface. Dip the bread slices in the mixture, coating both sides, and place in skillet. Flip the toast when it is lightly browned and brown on other side. This is the yummiest vegan French toast and tastes just like the "real" thing. Serve with maple syrup and cinnamon.
