Chai Oatmeal
- 2 Cups Liquid (Milk, Soy Milk, or Water) - Aisle 1 Refrigeration
- 1 Cup Quick Oats - Bulk Aisle 5
- Sweetener of Choice, Honey - Bulk Aisle 5 or Stevia - Aisle 2
- 1 Tbsp. Orgnic Raisins - Packaged Bulk
- 1 Tbsp. Cashew Pieces - Bulk Aisle 5
- 1/4 Tsp. Frontier Organic Turmeric - Bulk Herbs & Spices
- 1/2 Tsp. Frontier Organic Ground Cardamom - Bulk Herbs & Spices
- 6-7 Strands of Saffron - Bulk Herbs & Spices or Aisle 2
- Pinch of Hain Salt - Aisle 2
In a small saucepan, combine 2 Cups liquid and all ingredients except for the oatmeal. Bring to a boil, and add the oatmeal and stir for a minute. Turn off the heat, cover the saucepan and leave for a minute. For variety, add different types of nuts and dried fruit like dates, banana, vanilla, & cinnamon.
