Baked French Toast
- 4 Rose Acres Eggs - Aisle 1 Refrigeration
- 2 Tsp. Flavorganics Vanilla Extract - Aisle 2
- 2/3 Cup Vermont Village Organic Unsweetened Applesauce - Aisle 2
- 2/3 Cup Farmer's Creamery Milk - Aisle 1 Refrigeration
- 10 Slices Rudi's Organic Lightly Sweetened 100% Whole Wheat Bread - Aisle 2
Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Lightly spray 2 nonstick jelly roll pans or you can use cookie sheets. In medium bowl, whisk all the ingredients, except the bread. Don't use a deep mixing bowl. Place slices of bread in egg mixture and let soak for a few seconds. Place prepared bread slices on baking pans. Bake for 12 minutes then turn slices over. Continue baking for another 13-15 minutes until golden brown. To keep warm, place on rack in 200 degree fahrenheit oven. Freeze left over toasts in airtight plastic bags. Just toast for a quick meal.
