Apple Snack Bars
- 1 & 1/2 Cup Quick Rolled Oats - Bulk Aisle 5
- 1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour - Bulk Aisle 5
- 2/3 Cup Dates, chopped - Packaged Bulk
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts, chopped - Bulk Aisle 5
- 1/2 Tsp. Celtic Salt - Aisle 2 or 5
- 1/4 Cup Uncle Matt's Orange Juice - Aisle 1
- 1 & 1/2 Cups Raw Organic Apples, shredded - Produce
Combine all ingredients. Let stand 10 minutes. Press mixture into 8"x8" baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit until lightly browned, about 25 minutes. Loosen with a spatula, and cut into bars while war,. Let cool and wrap with plastic wrap, and freeze or refrigerate for school lunch treats.
